Get the shine back.

Over the years, washing, car washes and the sun leave fine scratches in your paint. They are what make a dark car look dull and hazy in the light. Paint correction removes them.

Black car door before and after paint correction

Real job. Swirled black paint, before and after correction.

What you are paying for

Paint correction is machine polishing that levels out the very top of your clear coat so scratches and swirls disappear and light reflects evenly again. The result is deeper colour, a sharper reflection and paint that looks cleaner, even before any coating goes on.

The levels below differ in how much work the paint needs, not in how good the finish is.

LIGHT

Enhancement Polish

The result: more gloss and clarity. Dull, tired paint looks fresh.

Good for: newer cars and paint in good shape.

Not for: removing visible swirls or scratches.

MOST CARS

Light Cut & Polish

The result: light to moderate swirls and haze removed in one pass. Paint looks clearer and deeper.

Good for: daily drivers with typical wash marks.

HEAVY

Heavy Cut & Polish

The result: heavier defects tackled in two passes, with water spot and mineral deposit removal first. The biggest improvement we offer.

Good for: neglected, faded or heavily swirled paint.

Which level does my car need?

Pick what you see on your paint in direct sunlight.

What it can’t do

Polishing removes a very thin layer of clear coat, so we only take off what the paint needs. That means some things have limits:

A deep scratch that catches your fingernail may only be reduced, not removed. Etched water spots are damage in the paint and may not fully come out. Chips and damage through to the colour need paint repair, not polishing.

Send photos before you book and we will tell you honestly what to expect.

How it works

  1. Photos and quoteYou send photos. We recommend a level and give a price.
  2. Wash and decontaminationThe paint is cleaned and prepared before any polishing.
  3. Machine polishOne or two stages, depending on your package.
  4. Final wipe and checkThe paint is wiped clean and checked in the light.

Correct, then protect

Correction fixes the paint. A ceramic coating helps keep it that way. Adding correction before a coating costs $250 for a Light Cut & Polish or $500 for a Heavy Cut & Polish, which is cheaper than booking them separately.

Questions

How long does it take?

It depends on the level and the car. We confirm timing with your quote.

Will I need a coating after?

No. Correction is worth doing on its own. A coating helps protect the result for longer.

Do you do this at my place?

Enhancement and some correction can be done mobile if you have power, water and a garage or carport. Larger jobs are done at our private workshop by appointment.

How do deposits work?

A 20% deposit books your date. Cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours ahead and it is refunded or moved.
