Privacy Policy
Sanctionz Detailing (ABN 35 156 254 210), referred to as “we” or “us”, operates in the Logan area of Queensland. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it.
What we collect
- Your name, mobile number and email address (if you give one).
- Your suburb, and the address where we attend for mobile jobs.
- Your vehicle details, and photos or videos of your vehicle that you send or that we take.
- Your booking and job details, including what was done, notes and warranty records.
- Payment confirmations. Card payments are handled by a third-party payment provider through our booking system. We do not store your full card details on this website.
- Basic website usage information, such as your device, browser and the pages you visit, once analytics tools are switched on.
How we collect it
From the forms and booking pages on this website, by phone, text and Facebook messages, and in person when we do your job.
Why we collect it
- To quote, book and carry out your service, and to travel to you.
- To send confirmations, reminders, “on the way” messages and follow-ups by text or email.
- To take deposits and payments and keep business and tax records.
- To keep warranty records and handle claims and complaints.
- To ask for a review after your job.
- To understand how our website is used and measure our advertising.
Text messages
When you book or request a quote, you agree we may text you about it. Tell us at any time if you do not want further messages and we will stop. We send marketing messages only if you have agreed to receive them.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed with the services that help us run the business, including our job management and booking software (ServiceM8), our payment provider, our website host, Google (for example analytics, Search Console and our Google Business Profile) and Meta (for Facebook messaging and advertising). We may also share information with our accountant or other advisers, or where the law requires it. Some of these providers store information outside Australia.
Photos and videos of vehicles
We may take photos or videos of your vehicle before and after a job for our records and warranty. We may use photos of our work on our website and social media. We crop or blur number plates and do not show your name or address. If you would prefer we do not use photos of your vehicle, tell us and we will not.
Cookies and analytics
A few third-party services are part of how this website works. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. Our booking and quote forms are hosted by ServiceM8, which has its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies.
We may also use analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta tags, to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. These tools may use cookies and collect information such as your IP address, device, and the pages you visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google and Meta account settings.
Keeping it safe, and for how long
We store information in our booking software and on password-protected devices and accounts. We keep it for as long as we need it to provide our services, honour warranties and meet tax and record-keeping obligations. Photos and videos of your vehicle are kept for around two months after your job, except that for ceramic coating jobs we keep the records we need for the length of your warranty. Job and payment records are kept in our booking system for the period required for business and tax records. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us below.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will respond. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
